Born on 1st July, 1961 and with over 20 years of experience as a teacher, organizer, researcher, author, practitioner, philanthropist and propagator in the field of complementary and holistic medicine, Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal is regarded as the pioneer of alternative medicines movement in India. He is the President of Indian Board of Alternative Medicines International Alternative Medical Association which have a combined membership of 60,000 from all over the world. He has been regularly invited by many Govt. and semi-govt. and non-governmental organizations from time to time, to deliver lectures on various topics covering complementary medicine peace movement all over the world such as U.S.A., U.K., Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Nigeria, Egypt, Spain, etc.

He is also the Editor of the Health Sciences Journal, a monthly publication duly recognized by the Govt. of India. He is associated with many national and international organizations in various capacities. He has organized 12 international conferences and authored a dozen of books. Recently, he had delivered a lecture on “the state of alternative medicines in India” in an international conference organized by Islamic Organization of Health Sciences in collaboration with World Health Organization in Cairo, Egypt. He has received many national and international awards in recognition of his outstanding services and achievements in the field of alternative medicines and conferred with the Knighthood of Malta.

- Master Degree in Environment & Ecology (M.Sc.) from Sikkim Manipal University, India.
- Master Degree in Gandhian Philosophy (M.A.) from Madurai Kamraj University, India.
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from National Institute of Business Management, India.
- Master of Science in Counseling & Psychotherapy from Institute of Psychotherapy & Management Sciences.
- Bachelor in Law (LL.B.) from Fakir Mohan University, Orissa with First Class First (Gold Medalist)
- Graduated from University of Calcutta with the degree of Bachelor in Science with Human Physiology as a major.
- Diploma / P.G. Diploma in Naturopathy, Yoga, Holistic Medicine, World Peace, Astrology, Aromatherapy, Modern Journalism, Health & Education, General Medical Practice, Family Welfare, Population Education, Reiki, Electro Homoeopathy.
- Diploma in Medicine & Surgery from Council of Homoeopathy Medicine, Govt. of West Bengal (this is a 4 yr. fulltime programme conducted by the statutory body of the Govt. of West Bengal covering Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Biochemic, Practice of Medicine, Surgery, Pharmacy, Organon, Materia Medica, Public Health & Hygiene, Medical Jurisprudence, — Medical Laws & Ethics followed by compulsory 1 yr. rotational internship in the Govt. aided/recognized hospital having indoor & outdoor facilities as Senior Medical Officer / Surgeon.)
